Conditions & Terms

1. Our Offerings:
 
a) Photographs and descriptions
Our products are appropriately displayed on the website and are either digitally made or shot. But, because computer monitors come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and configurations, shading and colour may not always match the actual product exactly. While we will make every effort to guarantee that the products sold and delivered correspond exactly to the sample or description that you have been shown or supplied, there may be some little or insignificant differences between the samples and the final products that cannot be guaranteed against and will not be considered adequate cause to reject the order, for example:

Materials and dyes: We cannot guarantee that two products bought separately will be manufactured from the same batch of fabric, and there may be slight differences in the exact tone and saturation of dyes when applied to both natural and synthetic materials.
Naturally occurring materials: Since genuine wooden blinds are made from real wood, each blind will have a unique hue and grain pattern. Similar variations and irregularities in the material can be seen in natural materials like cotton or linen from batch to batch.

b) Dimensions
A large number of the products we sell are customised to fit your sizes. You are in charge of measuring your window, curtain pole, or track accurately. Before placing an order, please contact our customer support staff for assistance if you have any questions about any of our items or how to measure, or use the online measuring guide. Before placing your order over the phone or online, you must verify the product specifications and measurements. You are also in charge of verifying the order using the email confirmation. Since the goods are made to measure, we are unable to accept returns or issue a refund if you provide us with erroneous measurements.

c) Products made to measure
Products that are made to measure are created specifically to meet your needs. Our products are manufactured specifically for you and cannot be cancelled or returned once they are made. For this reason, it is crucial that you are certain of the product you want and the size you need. We are not liable if you're unhappy with the colour or overall quality of the product. It is highly advised that you check your order again to make sure the products are ordered and the measurements are accurate. This has no bearing on your legal rights.

d) Blinds for skylights
For all branded non made to measure skylight blinds, we gladly accept returns. Within 14 days after delivery, you must return the items to be eligible for a refund. Skylight blinds need to be unsealed and in a selling state. Please get in touch with us by phone or email to arrange your refund before returning your things. To guarantee that your skylight blinds reach us securely, we advise you to return them via courier. We will give you a complete refund, including the original delivery charge, as soon as we have received the returns and verified that they are in resalable condition. The cost of returning the items to us is not refundable.

e)  Size Tolerance
Please be aware that fabric is cut by highly qualified experts, who strive for the closest possible accuracy of +/- 5mm (3cm for soft fabric products like curtains). If the sizes fall within the tolerance range, we won't replace the order, and you won't have the right to refuse the products.

f) Fabric Since most fabrics are dyed, the tone of each batch may differ somewhat. We are unable to guarantee shade matching for prior orders due to differences in product batches' colours. If you are unsure about the exact nature of the fabric, you are encouraged to contact our customer service team for additional guidance.

2. Order fulfilment and our agreement:
a) Modifications or cancellation of orders
By placing your order, you are entering into a legally enforceable agreement. The Consumer Contracts Regulations of 2013 state that goods that are manufactured to measure, like blinds, are not covered by this law and are not subject to the 14-day cancellation period. Refunds in full are guaranteed for cancellations made before the products, or any portion of them, are created. We are unable to issue a refund if your goods have already been manufactured. If you need to modify or cancel an order, give us a call as soon as you can so we can see if it has started production. It is highly recommended that you review the email confirmation.

b) Making a phone order
We will always repeat orders back to you from our customer care team. However, please be aware that we are unable to accept claims for purchases placed over the phone because we entered the wrong size or product. Please review the order information on the email confirmation after placing your order.


3. Costs
The total price displayed, which includes VAT, is the amount you will pay. This price is displayed both during the checkout process and on your confirmation email. (After an order is placed, some locations, such as the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands, may incur additional fees. We will notify you of these fees as soon as we receive word from the carrier, and you may choose to cancel the order if the additional fee is not acceptable.) After receiving your email confirmation, be sure the pricing of the items you ordered meets your needs.


4. Payment
We are only able to process your order after the products you have ordered from the website have been fully paid for with a credit or debit card. All major credit cards, debit cards, PayPal can be used to make online payments. We will encrypt your credit card information to reduce the risk of unauthorised access or disclosure. At the time of order, authorization for payment must be provided. At the time of ordering, you will be charged for the items. We shall not be liable to you for more than the whole amount of money that is charged for the relevant items in connection with any order. We only accept online orders from Web browsers that have Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, such as version 3.0 or higher.


5. Acknowledgment

If we don't have enough stock to produce and deliver the items you ordered, we have the right to cancel your order.
If the country or island from where you placed your order is one where we do not ship.
Unbeknownst to us, the things we ordered had been withdrawn.
A typo or pricing issue has happened as a result of a technological malfunction in our website or database.
We will let you know as soon as we can if we are unable to provide a certain item for any reason outside of our reasonable control. Discounts or reimbursement are not available in these unanticipated circumstances.


6. Your items are delivered
On the product landing page, we provide an expected shipment time. If we state 7 days, it indicates that payment will be in our bank account 7 working days from the time it was received, which is typically within 24 hours. The delivery terms mentioned above do not apply during periods of high volume, such as the Christmas season and bank holidays. After the order is placed, a more detailed dispatch date can be found by logging into the order tracking system. (After an order has been placed, deliveries to some locations, such as the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands, may incur additional fees. We will notify you of these additional costs as soon as we receive them from the carrier. If the additional charge is rejected, you can choose to cancel the order.) Delivery will take place at the address you designate. We are only able to deliver products within the United Kingdom's mainland. Our courier will make all of the deliveries to you. While we make every effort to ensure delivery within the estimated time frame, we cannot be held responsible for any losses resulting from delivery delays or other events outside of our control. It is advisable that you wait to schedule a fitter for product installation until after the item has been delivered and you have verified that all parts are present and undamaged.


7. Damaged and defective products
Although every blind is meticulously quality tested before being shipped, in the odd case that you run into any issues, please contact our customer support team by phone at 0161241 7999 or by email at help@postmyblinds.co.uk. If an item is damaged during the manufacturing process or during delivery, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to reject it. However, we urge that you notify us of any problems as soon as you can. We'll respond to your questions right away and, if needed, set up a repair or send out a replacement. The 30-day rejection period will be suspended upon reporting a defect, and upon receipt of your replaced or corrected product, you can then determine whether our remedy has been successful or to reject the items within a further 7 days or the remaining 30 days of your rejection period, whichever is longer. We reserve the right to request digital images of the identified problems or to have the goods sent back to us for examination. This has no bearing on your legal rights.


8. Guarantee
If there are any manufacturing defects, we offer a 12-month manufacturers guarantee. We also provide a limited guarantee for a further two years, for a total of three years. We reserve the right to replace or repair the product, and before a replacement is shipped, it can be required to return the items to us for examination. This has no bearing on your legal rights.


9. General
The laws of England and Wales shall govern and be construed in accordance with these Product Terms, and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes. The remaining Product Terms will remain valid and enforceable to the maximum extent allowed by law in the event that any one of these terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, in whole or in part.

In order to fulfil your order and give you the best service possible, we need to gather information about you. Unless you have given us permission to email you in the future, we won't email you. We will never give your information to a third party without your consent. You will have the option to unsubscribe from future marketing emails we send you.

We will gather the following kinds of data about you:
Your address, name, phone number, and email address
Details of credit/debit cards

We shall maintain the confidentiality of your personal information in compliance with the law and our internal security policy. We will always get your permission before transferring your information outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).

We could employ technology to monitor the usage trends of our website's visitors. A "cookie" that is kept on your browser may be used in this manner. Usually, you can change your browser to stop this from occurring. Unless you change your browser's settings, the data gathered in this manner can be used to identify you personally.
